Bon Voyage

We're off! To Africa! Well, at least we will be, after the holidays. But the journey begins now with a slew of shots and the making of ambitious plans with a scrappy group of 30 somethings who want to change the world right along side us. Idaho 2009-Thanks, thanks, and more thanks

We had such a good time with all of you.  Thank you for helping make the summer so fun for the boys-- especially my brothers-- for taking them shooting, fishing and even camping (also thanks to Jon for returning  middle child when he was too scared to sleep in the tent in the middle of the night—although I have heard a story about lighter fluid that makes my blood run cold….)

Also thanks to Cassie who planned good food( and no thanks to Cassie for planning good food and feeding me a little too well) and for all the cute babies who were so fun to play with, and the activities committee who took on a huge  share of the work, and for Grandpa and Grandma who came and made me remember lots of good summers gone by.  And thanks to Mom…and Dad, who generously paid for it all with the hope that we would all have a good time and make good memories.  We did.

Such a good summer of hellos and a sad summer of goodbyes….

We miss you all.

365 days

So this is what we were up to this summer....I have tons more photos to post but it's taking too long. I need my tech savy husband to help. I've forgotten how to use blogger. It's been 365 days. Ugh.
