Red Brick Road

This beautiful red brick road was so picturesque. It is part of the Old Yellowstone Trail connecting the west coast with Boston --built in 1913. We had such good ideas for pictures and such little stinkers for kids. They wouldn't even smile normal....sigh....

Family Photo shoot

We TRIED to get everyone happy and beautiful for pictures, and we came away with only a few cute shots. They just don't have the patience or interest in posing for their detail conscious DAD. Jason has some edited ones that look really cool...but I can't find them so here are some temporary place holders. I'm sad the kids wouldn't participate long enough to let their dad sneak into a shot.

On to the Holidays..

Frost, front porch tombstones, ghostly window clings-- we are ready for the big day. Oli is asking daily how many more days until he gets to wear his spiderman costume(thank you, Goodwill) . Note--he wears it all the time anyways. There is a faint scent of cinnamon and pine in the air, (thanks to my trusty scent diffusers --a must have in a house of boys), the boys have been begging to cut snowflakes and I'm reading Thanksgiving books from the library. Welcome to the Holidays!

Half of a half

I used to hate running, but I've been converted. I love it--all of it--The sweat, the muscle burn, the stinging lungs, getting lost in the music. I say bring it on. Oh yeah, and my cute running skirt is inspiration all by itself. Here's to the next 6.5 miles..Wahoooo!!!!

Oli's invisible baby sister

All day today Oli has been carrying around his NEW baby sister.   She's not real, but he spent his afternoon saving her from volcanoes and his  mean older brothers.  Stoney was trying to tazer her which caused an alarming amount of screaming.  We then had to stop and purchase  band-aids  for her at every tree between our house and the park. When he got tired of carrying her I had to help. Thank goodness she's not too heavy.  When he  wanted to carry her around himself he just put her in his tummy and then became her daddy, which is a little weird.  I wonder if she'll still be around tomorrow...
